State & Federal Agency Partnerships

Colorado State University is fortunate to have several state and federal agency facilities near campus, allowing easy collaboration between university and agency scientists. CSU has partnered with six federal agencies through the Natural Resources Research Center located just south of CSU's main campus:

USDA - Agricultural Research Service
USDA - Animal & Plant Health Inspection Service
USDA - Forest Service - Rocky Mountain Research Station
USDA - Natural Resources Conservation Service
USDA - Office of the Chief Information Officer
U.S. Geological Survey

Several GDPE faculty work closely with other nearby state and federal agencies. Several agency scientists have affiliate status with departments and programs at CSU, including GDPE, and often serve on graduate student committees, and as co-advisors for graduate students.
