I am a new master’s student working with Michael Lefsky. Having grown up in Boulder it was an easy transition to CSU to complete my BS in Natural Resources Management, with a minor in Spatial Information Management. During my undergraduate at CSU I began working in Michael Lefsky’s lab, focusing on ecological applications of lidar/spectral remote sensing. My projects have ranged from coding a lidar ray tracing program to taking gap fraction measurements in the Brazilian Amazonian forest. For my master’s thesis I might be looking into forestry applications of NASA’s future ICESat-2 satellite.
