Bernadette Kuhn

I am excited to be pursuing a PhD under advisors Dr. Andrew Norton and Dr. Boris Kondratieff. For my research, I will be focusing on plant-insect interactions. Since 2010, I have been fortunate to work as a staff botanist at the Colorado Natural Heritage Program. Prior to joining CNHP, I have worked as a botanist on a variety of research projects in the Great Plains and Rocky Mountains. I completed a BA in Environmental Policy at the University of Kansas, and an MS in Botany at the University of Wyoming. As a student in the GDPE/BSPM department, I plan to deepen my knowledge of pollination ecology, habitat needs of native bees in agricultural and rangeland setting, and bee taxonomy. I am also thrilled to be a lab instructor for the Plant Identification course at CSU.
